New version of Drop. It's still alive!

It's been a long time since the last update but here's one for the summer! This update fixes a few issues that caused the game to crash on some phones as well as remove the limit of 999 bonus stars.

You can get the update from Android Market here.

The full list of improvements are:
  • The limit of bonus stars have been increased to 9999
  • Tilt controls that didn't work on some phones have been fixed
  • Fixed a bug where game would crash when starting up on some phones
  • Support for moving game to SD card added
On top of the improvements, the overall game size have also been reduced to a mere 555 Kb! Yay!

I've also tried my best to get Drop to run on the new Android tablets, but I have not way to verify if this works well or not. This version should at least run without crashing on tablets, but I cannot guarantee much more. If you try it and have any comments let me know.

    Hey I have been running it on a Dropad A8/Herotab C8

    it runs smoothly but i can only use the tap screen control function because the g-sensor seams to be inverted (which is better than before the recent update where is was rotated 90 degrees)

    Would it be possible to have some gsensor options? such as invert x axis and swap x and y axis? this would make it possible for some of the weirder tablets to control the game with tilt.

    Dude, this game rocks, just got a score of 7690 (Drop 4845 / Stars 2845). Never thought the stamina of my right arm would be a factor, but it actually started cramping and shaking towards the end! :D Anyhow, as I think I've read here somewhere, The last color, and also game speed, becomes kind of dull and repetative. Would love some more colors to be added and just a pinch of tweaked game speed! Maybe some kind of modes or options of variation in game play would be interesting? Well, 'nough said for now, simple but awesome game you've got going!

    Thanks for the game. Its addictive. I installed it on my Galaxy S and it was working smoothly. Scored 3000 max. Now i bought Galaxy S2 and gave galaxy S to my wife. The ball is just too bouncy in S2 but in S its fine. Can you check for this? I cant score more than 800 in S2. I tried to reduce the sensitivity from option that didnt work.!

    sick game man, thanks. does anyone know what the deal is with the number of points allocated to each drop? i just noticed it to vary between 2, 3 and 4 points. weird

    I am a big fan of your game.. I use my frens android devices to play this game. Is it possible for you to make a jar version of this game? My scores on 3 different android devices are as 2920, 1754, 2375

    Great game, just scored 3855 today. You can get higher scores on small screens 2.5" than larger ones 3.5"

    Yes it is! It will add it back to Google Play with better support for large screens. Still testing, but I hope soon!
